Natural stones are the oldest building material ever used, they are resistent, igienic, atossic and absolutely ecologic considering that the whole earth is made of rock.
The use of natural stones led to a lower environmental impact becouse all the other materials , exception made for wood, require energy for their fabrication and chemical products as glue, resins or colorants, stone is already "produced" we only need to cut it and finish the surface.
